What is supplemental insurance?

Supplemental insurance is a crucial type of coverage that works with your primary insurance policies, such as health insurance, to pay for what your health plan does not. It is NOT the same as (health insurance plans.)

The main difference is that a supplemental plan will pay YOU directly. Unlike health insurance in which the company pays the hospital, expenses, etc. Which is why a health plan goes hand in hand with supplemental insurance. The 2 work together to make sure you are fully covered.
